What Is Paradise Ark?
PARADISE and ARK are the two words that aptly captures what our website is about. But what do they mean?
PARADISE:
Webster defines Paradise as follows: "Eden; a place or state of bliss, felicity, or delight; Heaven". Paradise connotes peace and rest...our ultimate eternal home as promised by God. Paradise would be everything this tumultous world is not and the resting-place sought by all wearied and broken by life on earth.
ARK:
Webster also defines Ark as follows: "A boat or ship held to resemble that in which Noah and his family were preserved from the Flood; something that affords protection and safety; the sacred chest representing to the Hebrews the presence of God among them; a repository traditionally in or against the wall of a synagogue for the scrolls of the Torah". In short, an Ark is where you put your 'treasures' so they are preserved: it was an ark (The Ark of the Convenent) God Himself used when it came to keeping the two stones containing the Ten Commandments safe! And Noah, where did he put his family until the violence of the floodwaters was past? Inside an ark!
Like Noah's Ark, Paradise Ark is that ship that has just set sail upon the restless waters of life with only one goal in mind: preserve and safely carry everyone that comes aboard to the beautiful shores of Paradise.
